Upcycling - turning old into new

This daypack is a real eye-catcher with its exclusive design. The comfortable backpack is made from recycled lining bags, making the material robust, water-repellent, and hard-wearing. It offers enough storage space for all the things you need for the day ahead. The backpack features two comfortably padded shoulder straps and a handle for carrying or hanging. Plenty of storage space is provided by the two main compartments, each of which closes with a two-way zipper. Inside, there are two additional open compartments and a zipped pocket, with our chic "Upcycling by Bekos" patch above. Small items can be stored on the outside in the two mesh side pockets.

The material made from recycled bags is very durable, waterproof, and long-lasting. The printed colors of the bags show wear over time, depending on use. These are normal signs of use and are not a reason for defect. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The appearance and texture of the material may vary slightly.

All our products made of cement bags, rice and fish food bags, and vehicle tires are produced under the FairTrade seal in strict compliance with the 10 Commandments. This project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and awarded by UNESCO. All accessories are designed by the villagers themselves and lovingly handmade; each one is unique, and the material cut-outs can vary in design because the bags are completely processed. The material with the fish motif was first a fish food sack and in its second life a rice sack before it was processed into these noble accessories.
