Upcycling - turning old into new

This cool courier backpack or roll top is the perfect everyday backpack. It is very functional and a real space-saver! Thanks to the large opening, even larger items can be stowed away. There will never be too little space in the future; simply adjust the roll top closure to the filling quantity and fix it with the robust buckle. The outside also has a large zipped compartment. Inside the courier backpack, a waterproof black fabric has been sewn in. Besides the main compartment, which is closed with a zipper, it has three smaller compartments inside: two slip-in compartments and one with a zipper. Above it is our chic "Upcycling by Bekos" patch. The straps are made of robust raw cotton.

The material is made from recycled sacks and is very durable, waterproof, and long-lasting. The printed colors of the bags show wear over time, depending on use. These are normal signs of use and are not a reason for defect. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The appearance and texture of the material may vary slightly.

Help to reduce waste and at the same time do something good not only for nature but also for the disadvantaged society in Cambodia.

All our products made of cement bags, rice or fish feed bags, and vehicle tires are produced under the FairTrade seal in strict compliance with the 10 Commandments. This project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and awarded by UNESCO. All accessories are designed by the villagers themselves and lovingly handmade; each one is unique. The material cut-outs can vary in design because the bags are completely processed. The material with the fish motif was even first a fish food sack and in its second life a rice sack before it was processed into these noble accessories.
