Upcycling - turning old into new

This classic wallet is made from recycled bags. Its size fits well in a trouser pocket while offering plenty of storage space thanks to its classic design. It features three large slots for cards, two hidden compartments, two open compartments for banknotes, and one large and one coin compartment, both closable with a zipper. Inside is our chic "Upcycling by Bekos" patch.

The material is made from recycled bags and is very durable, waterproof, and long-lasting. The printed colors of the bags may show wear over time, depending on use. These are normal signs of use and are not considered defects. Each product is handmade and therefore unique, with the appearance and texture of the material varying slightly.

The term 'patchwork' comes from the English language and literally means patchwork. In this accessory, various scraps from other bags (cement, fish food, feed, and rice bags) have been sewn together to create a colorful pattern.

All our products made from cement bags, rice and fish food bags, and vehicle tires are produced under the Fair Trade seal in strict compliance with the 10 Commandments. This project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organization and awarded by UNESCO. All accessories are designed by the villagers themselves and lovingly handmade, making each one unique. The material cut-outs can vary in design because the bags are completely processed. The material with the fish motif was initially a fish food sack and, in its second life, a rice sack before being transformed into these elegant accessories.
