Named after a rural market town in North Yorkshire, the Barbour Bedale® waxed jacket was first introduced to the range in 1980. Designed by Chairman Dame Margaret Barbour, this lightweight style was originally intended for equestrian use thanks to its shorter length, ideal for riding. Two-way brass ring zip and studded "Stormfly" placket. Two large bellows pockets and two hand warmer pockets lined with moleskin. Traditional corduroy collar with rivets for a concealed throat flap.
