Founded in 1927 in Brest, Fileuse d'Arvor is the oldest knitting company in Brittany. Based in Quimper since 1946, the company boasts top-notch expertise in flat knitting. Their iconic garments have traveled the world, including the legendary Marinière known as "Midship." Crafted from an incomparably soft combed cotton yarn, the authentic Marinière Brest is made in the workshops of Quimper, adhering to the traditional assembly of the Midship of the Marine Nationale. It notably accompanied the training ship Jeanne d'Arc on its last voyage around the world.
