Arc'teryx Atom

The Atom Hoody for men is a fantastic insulation jacket from Arc'teryx with versatile applications. At moderate temperatures down to 0 °C, this insulation jacket works well as an outer layer. This is primarily due to its highly insulating Coreloft™ synthetic insulation and the nearly windproof Tyono™ outer material. However, the Atom Hoody can also be worn in significantly lower temperatures during physically demanding activities, as its extremely breathable material prevents overheating while still protecting against biting cold. The side panels made of elastic stretch fleece are not as thick as the insulation but significantly contribute to freedom of movement and temperature regulation. This makes the jacket perfect for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or ice climbing. When it gets really cold, the close-fitting Atom Hoody can be worn under a softshell or hardshell jacket. This combination replaces a bulky winter coat. Arc'teryx exclusively uses very lightweight materials, which is why the Atom Hoody has a minimal weight and is compact to pack.
