I have some double-sided "strong adhesive" that I pressed onto the wooden window frames to attach curtains. Is it possible to remove this from the wood with the spray without discolouring / damaging the wood?
I would advise against using it on wood. Wood may absorb it. The risk of unsightly stains would be too high for me personally. You can never get rid of it afterwards. If you want to try it anyway, test it on an inconspicuous area first.
In my opinion, this should be possible. With such strong glue, you may have to leave the spray on for a long time and repeat this several times. The spray is very greasy and I think the wood will remain undamaged. I have used the spray myself on many different surfaces and nothing has ever happened.
