1. Oban 14 Years
The delicate, lantern-shaped pot stills made of copper are among the smallest in all of Scotland. The distillate, which will eventually become the full-bodied, fruity malt, condenses in wooden worm tubs that are mounted outside between the roofs. Finally, it is filled into oak barrels, where it matures for at least 14 years.

4. Oban Little Bay
What makes Little Bay special is its maturation in the smallest oak casks of the distillery and its bottling in small batches. On the nose, the single malt is full-bodied and sweet with notes of fruit, mint, and smoke. On the palate, sweet malt notes and flavors of apples and citrus fruits follow. The finish lingers for a long time.
5. Oban Special Release 2018 Cask Strength
Maritime aromas of seaweed and salt, but also fruitcake and a slightly smoky scent. Creamy texture and wonderfully soft with plenty of sweetness and a hint of salt, mixed with cocoa and toasted coconut. Mint and menthol take over the sweetness. The finish is spicy with cloves and black tea.

The texture is soft and creamy-smooth, while the flavor stands out with wine-like fruity notes that carry a touch of sweet violet and spiced plum. The fruit is balanced by a lively sharpness that first manifests as saltiness in the middle of the palate and then evolves into a robust hint of chili pepper. The finish is long and surprisingly peppery, with gentle chili pepper notes in the maritime aftertaste.

Subtle scent of bananas with a hint of herbs and grasses. This is complemented by lightly charred lemon peels and apricots in syrup. On the palate, there is an initial sharpness that is almost aggressive. Charred oak and a pronounced nuttiness, along with fruity aromas, quickly replace this sharpness. The finish is accompanied by spices, eucalyptus, and a slight sweetness.
