Tulsi (holy basil) from organically controlled cultivation
Origin/Cultivation: East India; harvested in Warangal.
History: Tulsi is one of the true gems and one of the most well-known adaptogens. Modern science is increasingly focusing on this queen of plants. Holy basil clearly holds a special place in the 5000-year-old scriptures. It is said to remove negative energies from spaces, and in Nepal, it is believed that where Tulsi grows, evil spirits are kept at bay. In Indian mythology, it is said that Tulsi frees those who touch the plant from all sins and purifies their body.
Preparation: Pour boiling water over 1 heaping teaspoon and let steep for 6 minutes. Up to 3 cups daily.
