Product details

100% fresh Rhodiola Rosea (cut rhizome)

Origin/Cultivation:

Scandinavia; harvested in the Nikkaluokta region in the north of Sweden.

Information:

Despite its numerous and extraordinary properties, what is now probably the most popular adaptogen is only slowly gaining acceptance in Central Europe. Everyone who knows rose root is probably shaking their head in disbelief now, because this plant helps to adapt to the rapidly changing living conditions.

History:

Rose root received its present name from the botanist Carl Linnaeus who first baptised the plant with the Latin name "Rhodiola rosea" in his book Materia Medica (1749). The epithet "rosea" alludes to the fact that the root has a fragrance comparable to that of the rose. Rhodiola has a long tradition in Siberia, Tibet, China and Scandinavia.

Recommended duration of intake:

3 months

Dosage & Preparation:

2 - 4 g. (filled tea infuser) for 10 - 15 minutes (up to 3 cups daily).

Synonyms:

Rhodiola Rosea, Rose Root, Golden Root, Arctic Root.
