The Wernli brand. In 1905, the confectioner Fritz Wernli-Studer founded his first biscuit bakery in Trimbach. Later, in the 1980s, the legendary slogan "Me het de Wernli eifach gernli" emerged. The family business HUG AG took over Wernli in 2008 and has since ensured consistently high quality together.
