Product details

Tamari is a strong, gluten-free Japanese soy sauce made from soybeans and koji, a unique Japanese noble mould. Our tamari is produced in the traditional way by genuine Japanese experts and requires a fermentation period of no less than 12 months. This takes place in 100-year-old cedar wood barrels. The taste of tamari is wonderfully complex and contains all five flavours: salty, sour, sweet, bitter and umami. With this Japanese soy sauce, you can really take any dish to the next level: (miso) soups, noodle dishes, marinades, sushi and stews. Also available in 125 ml, 500 ml and 1 litre.
