The garden was founded in 1969, before Sikkim was merged with India, at the suggestion of the last king. The state of Sikkim has converted its entire agriculture to organic farming. The tea combines strength and fullness with the floral, delicate character of a high-quality Darjeeling. A jewel from the highlands of the Himalayas. This flowery and lively tea has a rich orange cup colour. Its leaf is lively and vibrant, with a slight tipiness.
