What is Isomalt?
Isomalt is a natural product and the only sugar substitute in the world made from pure beet sugar. It has unique properties and tastes remarkably similar to sugar, more so than any other sugar substitute. In blind taste tests with over a hundred participants, it was shown that very few could distinguish an Isomalt candy from a corresponding sugar candy; however, over 60% of participants found the sugar-free candy made with Isomalt to taste significantly better.
