I personally think that this is not a question.

The scope of delivery includes 2 pieces and 6 wash cycles are possible per bottle. :) The specifications are therefore correct.

One of the two products is a "technical detergent for waterproof clothing". The second is a "soaking waterproofing agent for outdoor clothing".

You cannot mix the products in one wash cycle. Tech Wash and TX.Direct should be used in separate washes. First wash the garment with Tech Wash to clean it and then add TX.Direct in a second wash cycle to renew the water repellency.

Nikwax's 'Tech Wash & TX.Direct Wash-In Set' is specifically designed for use with waterproof, windproof and breathable fabrics. ### Recommended fabrics: - Gore-Tex® - Windstopper® - Sympatex® - Other waterproof and breathable fabrics such as dry suits, dry tops, splash wear, jackets, ski wear and synthetic sleeping bags. ### Fabrics not recommended: - Fabrics that are not waterproof or breathable, as the product is optimised to maintain the water repellency and breathability of technical fabrics. - Do not use on fabrics that do not require water repellency treatments or are not designed to be breathable.

Nikwax's 'Set Tech Wash & TX.Direct Wash-In' is designed to act specifically on the outer area of clothes without damaging the inner properties of the fabric. - Nikwax Tech Wash is a special detergent that cleans waterproof and breathable fabrics without damaging the water repellent (DWR) finish on the outer surface of the garment. This product is formulated to lift dirt that can attract water and mask water-repellent finishes, while maintaining the breathability and water-repellency of the fabric. - Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In leaves a flexible water-repellent treatment on the individual threads of the fabric, allowing water vapour to pass through and maintaining breathability. This treatment is applied during washing and concentrates on the outer surface of the fabric, preventing it from penetrating too deeply and altering the internal properties of the garment. Therefore, the risk of these products also acting on the inside of the suit is minimal, as they are specifically designed to work on the outer surface of waterproof and breathable fabrics.

To use Nikwax's 'Set Tech Wash & TX.Direct Wash-In', follow these steps: ## Cleaning with Tech Wash - Place the garment or accessory in the washing machine. - Add Nikwax Tech Wash to the washer's dispenser. - Select a normal wash cycle and complete the rinse cycle. - Alternatively, you can use Tech Wash for a hand wash in lukewarm water, agitating and rinsing thoroughly. ## Applying TX.Direct - After cleaning the garment with Tech Wash, place it back in the washing machine. - Add Nikwax TX.Direct to the washing machine dispenser. - Select a normal wash cycle and complete the rinse cycle. - You can also apply TX.Direct by hand, soaking the garment in warm water and shaking, then rinsing thoroughly. ## General Instructions - Make sure to remove any detergent residue from the washing machine before adding Nikwax. - Always follow the instructions on the garment label for the type of drying allowed (air drying or low temperature tumble dryer). This process ensures that your waterproof garments are clean and coated with a water repellent treatment, maintaining their breathability and water repellency.
