The standard Haribo Gold Bears contain gelatine, which is made from the offal of pigs and cattle. This gelatine makes the standard version of the Gold Bears non-vegan. However, there is a special variant of Haribo Gold Bears called "Haribo Halal Gummy Bears" or "halal Gold Bears", which does not contain pork gelatine but beef gelatine from halal slaughtered cattle. This variant is also not vegan as it contains gelatine.
