The 149th Tobacco Harvest
The Cosecha 149 line is a tribute to the country of Honduras, which opened its doors to the Plasencia family after the Nicaraguan Revolution in 1979. The Spanish word "Cosecha" translates to "harvest" in English. The Plasencia Cosecha 149 commemorates the family's 149th annual tobacco harvest from 2014. The family believed that the aged tobacco from the 149th harvest was now ready for further processing, and thus this tobacco was released for cigar production. And the wait was worth it. The Cosecha 149 is a true flavor bomb!
A Honduran Puro
The Plasencia Cosecha 149 is a Honduran puro, made with tobacco from the various Honduran farms of the Plasencia family. This medium to full-bodied blend is characterized by a lot of spice and crisp roasted aromas. These flavors are not typical for tobacco from Honduras. The smoking experience transitions into a smoother, balanced medium finish. The Cosecha 149 comes in a box of 10, and the cigars are wrapped in a beautiful copper-colored band.
