The Perdomo Double Aged 12 Year Vintage cigars are made with Perdomo's finest 12-year-old filler tobaccos, as well as binder and wrapper leaves. After these rare tobaccos undergo optimal post-fermentation in bales for ten years, they are subjected to an additional two years of fermentation in bourbon oak barrels. Hence the term Double Aged. This elaborate process is carried out separately for all the tobacco leaves in the blend (Seco, Viso, Ligero) as well as for the binder and wrapper leaves. The tobacco is stored in previously charred bourbon barrels made of white oak, which brings out the perfect colors, textures, and flavors of these tobaccos. Together, this makes each Double Aged 12 Year Vintage a perfectly balanced and full flavor experience.
