Oro di Milas native extra olive oil is an excellent pure variety oil produced in the historic region of Milas. The Memecik olives are hand-harvested from four orchards spanning over 500 hectares and are cold-pressed within 6-8 hours at a modern, highly regarded family-owned olive oil mill. The Memecik olives grow exclusively in the area surrounding the province of Milas, imparting a uniquely rich flavor to the olive oil. The organic certification will be issued in 2024. This results in a wonderful pure Memecik juice that begins with an intense aroma of green olives and freshly cut grass during the olfactory phase. Its scent notes include tomato leaves, green apple, and almond, culminating in a reminiscence of the aromatic herbs of the landscape. On the palate, it showcases olive fruits, leaves, herbs, and green almonds. It offers a balanced bitterness and spiciness with a very pleasant aftertaste. A great EVOO.
