Natura Red lentils
1000 gProduct details
Natura red lentils are very suitable for oriental or Indian cuisine. They quickly absorb the flavors of spices. The red lentils are already peeled, cook quickly, and are ideal for the fast preparation of stews, soups, salads, and much more. Additionally, they can be used to make excellent spicy purees, patties, fritters, pastes, sauces, spreads, soups, and salads. They pair well with almost any vegetable, meat, and fish. Peeled red lentils do not need to be soaked before cooking. The cooking time is between 10 to 20 minutes. The cooked lentils, which break down, have a creamy and tender consistency and develop a lovely yellow hue. The cooking ratio is approximately one cup of dry lentils to two cups of water. How long you cook the lentils until soft depends on how you plan to further process the legumes. For salads, a bit more firmness may be desired, and a minimum cooking time of 10 to 12 minutes is sufficient. Salt and seasoning should be added towards the end of the cooking process.
