Product details

The large, sweet Medjool dates come from Morocco and were long reserved for the royal family there. A disease nearly wiped out all the palms in North Africa. Thanks to some rescued cuttings, the variety is now cultivated in Israel and California. Enjoyed as a natural energy booster, when chopped up, for example in an apple or fruit salad, dates can replace sugar. In addition to B vitamins, potassium and magnesium are also well represented in the dates.
