Product details
The origin of Ayran cannot be precisely dated. The geographical roots are also disputed. Much suggests that Ayran has its origins in the Caucasus and the Anatolian region. It is possible that nomadic tribes of the Göktürks, who ruled between the Caspian Sea and Manchuria from 552 to 745 AD, discovered it. They mixed sour yogurt with water, thus creating the refreshing yogurt-based drink.
