La Aurora Cigars DNA Dominicano Robusto

With the name ADN, which means DNA in Spanish, La Aurora highlights its close connection to the Dominican Republic. Tabacalera La Aurora is the oldest cigar manufacturer on the island and has launched a unique line of cigars with ADN. The La Aurora ADN cigar was introduced at InterTabac in 2017. What makes this cigar special is the fermentation technique used for the filler. The tobacco leaves are wrapped in palm leaves after drying and additionally pressed tightly with ropes. This process gives the tobacco an aromatic sweet-earthy note, providing the cigar with a distinctive flavor. This method of fermentation has been used for over 500 years to produce pipe tobacco in the Dominican Republic.
