Shisha, derived from the Persian word "shishe," meaning glass, is also known as a water pipe, narghile, arghila, qalyan, and many other names. A shisha is a single or multi-hose instrument used for smoking flavored tobacco, where the vapor or smoke is passed through a water basin before inhalation. The origin of the water pipe dates back to the Safavid dynasty in the Persian Empire, which extended into India, where it also spread. During the Ottoman dynasty, shisha soon reached Egypt and the Levant, where it became very popular and where the mechanism was later perfected. In many parts of the world, smoking shisha is part of traditional culture and is considered a social custom. Social smoking is typically done with a water pipe that has a single or double hose, but some water pipes can use four or more hoses. We present Sahbi Shishas, a new brand of water pipes ranging from small to large, with one or more hoses to satisfy everyone.
