Biodegradable: Biodegradable products are made from materials that are completely broken down by naturally occurring microorganisms into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass. Unlike compostable products, they do not need to be broken down within a specific time frame. The production primarily uses cellulose and fiber products based on sugarcane and palm leaves, as well as products derived from starch plants. According to the definition, it does not matter whether renewable or non-renewable, i.e., fossil resources are used in production.
