Nuss-Härzli has been part of the HUG range for many years. The foundation for success was laid by Josef Hug-Meyer in 1877 in Lucerne with the invention of the rusk. Since then, the traditional company has produced additional pastries such as Läckerli, Willisauer-Ringli, DAR-VIDA Crackers, gastronomy pastries, frozen snacks, and Bricelets, some of which were added through company acquisitions. HUG AG remains a thoroughly Swiss family business to this day.
