Gilbert de Montsalvat 10 years Anniversary

The author Thomas Brunnschweiler created the character of Gilbert de Montsalvat in the story "The Pope of Geneva" in 1999. When Raymondo Bernasconi, owner of "The Royal Cigar Company," read the story on a dreary Sunday, he was initially quite depressed. The hero of the story could neither smell nor taste anything. But perhaps that was exactly the message: Trust your own judgment, and don’t listen to cigar popes!
