Fentimans Curiosity Cola

Thomas Fentiman came to brewing in a rather unusual way: in 1905, a merchant is said to have asked him for a loan. As security, he gave Fentiman a recipe for herbal ginger beer. As the merchant never repaid his loan, the recipe remained in Fentiman's possession. And so he began producing the ginger beer and experimented with it over the following years. Among other things, Fentiman created a cola drink with fermented ginger root extract and revitalising catuaba and guarana extracts. Curiosity Cola is therefore far from being a conventional soda. It can be used to make cocktails such as Dirty Henry, Air Conditioner, Caribbean Nightmare, Long Island Ice Tea and Whisky Cola.
