El Loco La Viuda (Piramide)

El Loco, affectionately known as "the Crazy One" in Spanish, takes a more deliberate approach to cigar making. The raw tobacco used in its production is entirely processed by hand and undergoes a careful aging process of up to seven years. It is then fermented over a period of five to six months at lower temperatures, which is twice as long as is typical in the traditional tobacco industry. This gentle method allows for a high concentration of flavors to be extracted from the tobacco while simultaneously softening its strength.

El Loco La Viuda – Tradition and Modernity

After the artisanal production, the cigars are aged in three different formats for at least four more months before being adorned with decorative bands and placed in uniquely designed boxes. El Loco skillfully combines tradition and modernity – not only through the blend of traditional craftsmanship "Hecho totalmente a mano" and new techniques in aging and fermentation. The fresh design and color scheme of the bands and boxes, which draw inspiration from the "Dia de Muertos" (Day of the Dead), a significant Mexican holiday, also reflect this connection. The boxes feature motifs of a decorated skull, and the formats are named Widow, Widower, and Orphan – a tribute to the cultural richness and traditions of Mexico.
