Dr. Oetker Marble cloud

Enjoy a piece of heaven with Dr Oetker's Marble Cloud baking mix 455 g. In just one step, you can conjure up a delicious marble cake with a soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture. Perfect for afternoon coffee or as a dessert. Let yourself be tempted by this heavenly treat and save time and effort in the kitchen.

Preparation:
The pack contains: 415 g baking mix for the dough, 25 g mix with cocoa, 15 g decorating sugar. You will also need: Springform tin (Ø 26 cm), e.g. Dr Oetker baking paper. Just add: 200 g whipping cream, 3 eggs (size M), 1 tbsp milk.

1. prepare: Place a sheet of baking paper in the springform tin. Preheat the oven. Top/bottom heat: approx. 160 °C, hot air: approx. 140 °C. The Dr Oetker test kitchen recommends baking the marble cloud at top/bottom heat.

2. prepare the dough: Pour the baking mixture for the batter into a mixing bowl. Add the cream and eggs, mix with a mixer (beaters) briefly at the lowest speed, then at the highest speed for 3 minutes to form a smooth batter. Pour 2/3 of the batter into the tin and smooth out. Mix the remaining batter with the cocoa and milk mixture. Spread the dark batter on top of the light-coloured batter and pull through with a fork to create a marble pattern. Sieve half of the decorating sugar directly onto the dough.

3. bake: Place the tin on the rack in the oven. Lower third of the oven, baking time: approx. 45-50 minutes. Test for doneness after 45 minutes. To do this, prick the centre of the cake with a wooden stick. If the wooden stick is dry and no more batter is sticking to it, the cake is cooked.
