The Boveda Humidipacks are 2-way humidifiers. When the humidity drops below the specified level, the Humidipack releases moisture. Conversely, when the humidity rises above the level, the Humidipack absorbs the excess moisture. The humidifiers come pre-filled and only need to be unpacked.

Construction of the Humidifiers
The Boveda Humidipacks operate on the natural principle of osmosis. The humidifiers contain two packets with different contents that are connected by a membrane. This allows the natural salts from one packet to combine with the pure water from the other packet, thereby regulating the climate in your humidor.

When should the humidifier be replaced?
Initially, the humidifier is filled with water and is therefore very soft. Over time, as moisture is released, the Boveda Humidipack becomes increasingly rigid and should be replaced when no liquid is detectable.

Can the humidifier be refilled?
No, the Boveda Humidipacks are single-use humidifiers and release moisture immediately after the packaging is opened.
