The Boveda Humidipacks are 2-way humidifiers. If the humidity drops below the specified level, the Humidipack releases moisture. If the humidity rises above the level, the Humidipack absorbs the excess moisture. The humidifiers are pre-filled and only need to be unpacked.

Construction of the Humidifiers
The Boveda Humidipacks work on the natural principle of osmosis. The humidifiers contain two packets with different contents that are connected by a membrane. This allows the natural salts from one pack to combine with the pure water from the other pack, thereby regulating the climate in your humidor.

When should the humidifier be replaced?
At the beginning, the humidifier is filled with water and is therefore very soft. As the water is released during use, the Boveda Humidipack becomes increasingly rigid and should be replaced when no moisture is detectable.

Can the humidifier be refilled?
No, the Boveda Humidipacks are single-use humidifiers and release moisture immediately after the packaging is opened.
