Each Boveda consists of a specially prepared saturated solution of pure water and natural salts. This saturated solution is contained within a moisture-permeable reverse osmosis membrane.
Boveda delivers the cleanest and purest moisture of all products on the market.
Boveda's patented 2-way humidity control continuously reacts to environmental conditions by adding or removing moisture to influence the surrounding environment and deliver the specified RH (relative humidity) level.
Three things to know about Boveda:
When it’s dry and crispy, it’s time to replace it. Once Boveda is completely dry, it becomes a solid wafer. If only a few soft areas remain, it’s time to replace the Boveda pack.
The more you use it, the longer it lasts. Adding more than the minimum amount recommended by Boveda is perfectly fine and, in some cases, necessary for dry climates, seasonality, or leaky storage containers.
The more you expose it to air, the harder it has to work. If your Boveda is depleting quickly (less than 2 months), know that Boveda is working extra hard to keep that environment stable. The solution is to check if your humidor needs seasoning or if you should add more Boveda packs.
The 4g Boveda is suitable for approximately 14g of plant material.
The 8g Boveda is suitable for approximately 28g of plant material.
The 67g Boveda is suitable for approximately 450g of plant material.
The 320g Boveda is suitable for approximately 2250g of plant material.
