Description
Elderberry was only cultivated in Europe around 1960. The many positive characteristics of the tree, such as its low susceptibility to disease and good frost resistance, quickly became apparent, leading to its rapid rise in popularity, making it an integral part of the European landscape today. For our Biotta Elderberry Juice, we use the Haschberg variety, which is the highest quality and most flavorful elderberry variety. The black berries are harvested and pressed by hand at the end of summer in a particularly gentle manner. This results in a natural juice produced in our manufactory, free from artificial additives and added sugar. Due to the careful production process, the juice has a delightful and fruity-mild taste.
