Carpet Cleaning Detergent Tapex

The low-foam, well-wetting carpet cleaning detergent Tapex dissolves and emulsifies all types of dirt. It reduces foam formation in carpets treated with shampoo, often eliminating the need for anti-foam agents. When used in concentrated form, it is highly effective as a wet stain remover (spot flushing method).

Application area: Suitable for all water-resistant carpets and upholstery made of synthetic fibers and wool.

Dosage: Add 1 - 4 dl to 10 liters of lukewarm water (1 - 4%). For heavy soiling, pre-spray with a 10 - 20% solution (1 - 2 liters in 10 liters of water). Biodegradable; the surfactants contained in this product meet the biodegradability requirements according to the Detergents Regulation.

Processing instructions: Thoroughly vacuum the carpet or upholstery and remove stains. For heavy soiling, pre-spray the extraction machine with the suction motor turned off or with a hand pump. Allow to act for 10 - 15 minutes, then extract by spraying. Warm water enhances cleaning effectiveness. Brush the pile while still damp to lift it.

Consumption: 1 liter of concentrate for 30 - 50 m², depending on the level of soiling and type of carpet.

Special notes: Test carpets and upholstery for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area. For wool, do not exceed a water temperature of 40 °C. Rinse with clear water after high dosage. Caution with carpets and upholstery made of jute backing (shrinkage, color bleeding). Place furniture legs on plastic or aluminum foil to avoid rust or dye stains.
