About Artista Cigars: Tabacalera El Artista (TEA) has been cultivating tobacco for about 70 years as a family business in its third generation and is one of the largest tobacco producers in the Dominican Republic. Part of the tobacco is used for their own blends, while the majority is sold to cigar manufacturers. The hand-rolled cigars from Artista are the passion project of Radhames "Ram" Rodriguez, the grandson of founder Ramon "Pulita" Rodriguez.
