Artista Harvest Toro

The Harvest by Artista is a very digestible, sweet, and at the same time earthy blend. The box-pressed Harvest is available as a Robusto or a Toro and impresses with great aroma consistency throughout the smoking duration. The Habano-Seco as a filler ensures that the cigar does not come across as too sweet. The result of these efforts is indeed impressive. Artista Harvest - teamwork works!

With the Harvest line, Artista's Tabacalera El Artista has taken new paths. For the blend, the tobacco farmers and especially the cigar rollers were involved, which is not entirely traditional. The latter are usually not part of the creation of a blend. However, considering that they first hold every cigar in their hands and often have a considerable consumption themselves, this approach makes a lot of sense.

About Artista Cigars: Tabacalera El Artista (TEA) has been growing tobacco for about 70 years as a third-generation family business and is one of the largest tobacco producers in the Dominican Republic. Part of the tobacco is used for their own blends, while the majority is sold to cigar manufacturers. The hand-rolled cigars from Artista are the passion project of Radhames “Ram” Rodriguez, the grandson of founder Ramon “Pulita” Rodriguez.

Tasting Report: Cigar exterior: velvety, soft wrapper. Cigar interior: light rolling. Smoke: medium, rather fleeting smoke volume. Flavor: nutty-sweet with earthy notes. Burn: good burn behavior.
