Kyoto Matcha

Arche Organic Kyoto Matcha is a matcha for a very special indulgence: after shading, only the tender, young shoots of the tea bush are slowly and gently ground in stone mills to produce this uniquely full-bodied powdered tea. The exquisite quality comes from the legendary Uji growing region, home to the most famous Japanese green teas. Kyoto Matcha has an intense green colour, a particularly multi-faceted, aromatic and fresh taste and a gentle, subtle sweetness. Matcha is the tea of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony and is valued today not only for its delicious flavour but also for its high content of EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate).
