Aptamil FMS is suitable for fortifying breast milk for the nutrition of premature and newborn babies with low birth weight. By adding Aptamil FMS, the natural composition of breast milk is adapted to the special nutritional requirements of premature babies. Aptamil FMS enriches breast milk with extensively hydrolysed protein, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, trace elements and vitamins as required. Adding 4 g of Aptamil FMS to 100 ml of breast milk increases the energy content by 17 kcal to approx. 82 kcal.

Instructions for use
Follow the instructions for use carefully when preparing Aptamil FMS. Improper preparation and storage can lead to health problems due to the growth of undesirable germs. Prepare the food fresh before each meal and feed it immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Do not heat formula in the microwave (risk of overheating). Preparation and dosage: Add 4 level measuring spoons (4.4 g) of Aptamil FMS to 100 ml of breast milk warmed to body temperature and shake vigorously for approx. 30 seconds. Important information: For nutrition: Breastfeeding is the best nutrition for your baby. For use: Please only use under medical supervision. Aptamil FMS is not a complete food and is not a substitute for breast milk. Dental health: Please ensure that your baby's first teeth are thoroughly cleaned, especially before going to bed.
