We don't want to bore you with the usual tonic water story, but rather take a look back at its true origins. Therefore, we won't recount the tales of Spanish conquerors who discovered quinine in South America, saving the life of a dying countess in the 18th century. We also won't repeat the stories surrounding the Incas, who used quinine a hundred years before our era, nor will we mention that the trees from which quinine is derived were found along the legendary Inca trails.

Our story began at 1,724 meters above sea level, on an Inca trail that stretches from Argentina to nearly Mexico, where we hand-harvest quinine. In search of a new flavor experience, we created an original recipe inspired by its historical homeland. Our bottles feature shapes and colors that reference the past and express the careful hand-picking process. 1724 is our evolutionary and completely original vision of the tonic world.
