I have used the steriliser twice now - and both times the dummies (all from Philips Avent) have smelled extremely of plastic after use. Is this normal?

I don't know it like that, but I have already cleaned the steriliser with said household vinegar... Afterwards, the parts had unfortunately stunk several times...
