Application
Depending on the thickness and firmness of the fibrin coatings, microbial colonization, wound edge maceration, or irritation, the moist phase should be adjusted. For fibrin-covered, foul-smelling wounds that are heavily colonized with germs, a contact time of 5-10 minutes is recommended. For a stable wound environment with a clean wound bed free of microbial abnormalities, a contact time of 5 minutes is sufficient.

The ActiMaris Wound Gel is used to moisturize wound fillers or the wound bed and can be combined with modern wound care products. It keeps the wound moist and has a broad antimicrobial, antifungal, and odor-reducing effect. In combination with, for example, alginates, it can be used like a regular wound gel.
