3. Emser Inhalationslösung 4 % hypertonisch
Medical product for inhalation to gently enhance secret mobilization due to osmotic conditions in diseases of the lower respiratory tract associated with mucus solidification (e.g., acute bronchitis, acute bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis) and as a carrier solution for the inhalation of beta-sympathomimetics and anticholinergics.
It promotes the self-cleaning of mucous membranes by activating cilia and actively dissolving the hardened mucus. Coughing up the mucus is facilitated.
The hypertonic 4% inhalation solution is also suitable as a carrier solution for inhalation of medications; please refer to the instructions in the user manual.
Natural Emser salt consists of more than 30 minerals and trace elements that characterize the salt. In addition to sodium and chloride ions, it contains minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, fluoride, and sulfate. The largest proportion consists of bicarbonate ions, which is why a solution of natural Emser salt is slightly alkaline (pH 8-10).
