Origin/Growth:

The Chinese caterpillar fungus grows at altitudes between 3000 and 5000 meters and is native to China, Tibet, and Nepal. We import this wonderful mushroom from the Yunnan and Qinghai regions.

History:

Cordyceps was once a rarity, almost unaffordable, and during the Chinese Ming Dynasty, it was more expensive than precious metals. As a result, Cordyceps was reserved exclusively for the nobility. Nowadays, the mycelium of the caterpillar fungus is cultivated and processed in our regions. However, the import is similarly expensive and labor-intensive as our Rhodiola Rosea sourced from Sweden.

What is Cordyceps suitable for?

The caterpillar fungus is very popular in Chinese medicine due to its nutrient-rich composition. The overall composition of the ingredients supports physical and mental well-being. Traditionally, Cordyceps is used in the eastern hemisphere as a strengthening and restorative agent after illnesses or during colds/flu. It pairs well with Maca and/or Rhodiola.

Our freshly imported caterpillar fungus contains everything from the dried mycelium (no artificially extracted mixtures, but 100% organic and holistic). The drying process for this special adaptogen is gentle and slow to ensure that all nutrients, vitamins, and trace elements are preserved.
