BPM Core provides medically accurate measurement results and a progress report that you can easily forward to your doctor. The independent blood pressure measurement at home avoids so-called white coat hypertension, recognises masked hypertension and controls nocturnal hypertension. After each measurement, you will receive a colour-coded quick display of the values based on the recommendations of the European Society of Hypertension, ESH. High blood pressure is the most common cause of heart disease and strokes and usually has no noticeable symptoms.
BPM Core produces a medically accurate ECG thanks to the 3 electrodes with 2 electrodes in the cuff and 1 in the stainless steel tube, which hold them in place during the measurement. The measured values are displayed in real time on the device and forwarded to the app. This gives you immediate feedback on whether there is evidence of atrial fibrillation or not. By placing the digital stethoscope on the chest during the measurement, the highly sensitive sensor recognises specific heartbeat frequencies that correspond to the opening and closing of the heart valves.
Utilising these sounds allows the proprietary artificial intelligence, developed by cardiologists and interspersed with thousands of real heart sounds, to detect potential disturbances that may in turn indicate a risk for the most common valvular heart diseases.
Valvular heart disease is characterised by a defect in the heart valves, which can lead to heart failure and in some cases require surgical intervention. Heart valve disease can progress for a long time without any noticeable symptoms. Affected patients are often unaware of their condition and benefit from early diagnosis.
BPM Core synchronises seamlessly with the free Health Mate app. You have access to all your measurement data in the app or via your personal Withings account on your computer. Monitor the progress of your values, forward them and use other functions.
