How do razor blades stay sharp for longer? These tips have been tried and tested! Tip 1: Rinse your razor blades under running water after every shave to remove shaving foam residue and the like. This prevents deposits and blockages and keeps the blades sharp for longer. Tip 2: Shake your razor thoroughly after rinsing to remove excess moisture. But be careful when doing so. Tapping on the edge of the washbasin is a taboo! The vibrations can otherwise damage the structure of the blades. As a result, you may not shave as thoroughly. Tip 3: Do not use a towel to dry your razor. This can dull the blades. Instead, place it in a cup.
