UrgoStartTül is a flexible wound contact dressing designed and developed by Laboratoires URGO.

UrgoStart Tül consists of a polyester fibre mesh coated with the innovative TLC-NOSF technology (lipidocolloid technology - nano-oligosaccharide factor).

Properties:

UrgoStart Tül offers all the advantages of the TLC-NOSF wound healing matrix® (physiological wound environment, faster wound healing). TLC-NOSF TLC (Technology Lipido-Colloid) combined with NOSF (Nano-Oligo-Saccharide-Factor) is an innovative patented technology. In contact with the wound exudate, the TLC-NOSF Wound Healing Matrix® forms a gel and creates a physiological wound environment so that the key cells involved in the repair process (fibroblasts, keratinocytes, macrophages) can develop their effect.

The TLC-NOSF Wound Healing Matrix® interacts with the microenvironment of the wound and prevents the degrading effect of matrix metalloproteases (MMPs), which are present in excess in chronic wounds and lead to continuous degradation of the extracellular matrix and delayed wound healing.

The TLC-NOSF Wound Healing Matrix® restores the balance in the wound so that granulation of chronic wounds can begin. UrgoStart Tül thus promotes faster wound healing.

The effectiveness of the TLC-NOSF Wound Healing Matrix® has been proven in several clinical studies, including randomised controlled trials (1,2). UrgoStart Tül does not adhere to the wound or the wound environment. Dressing changes are painless for the patient and atraumatic (gentle on the tissue) for the newly formed tissue.

  • Acceleration of wound healing
  • Maintenance of a physiological environment favourable for wound healing
  • Atraumatic and pain-free dressing changes for patients
