The back support covers the lower thoracic vertebrae (Th 10 to Th 12) and the lumbar region (L 1 to L 5) and is fastened at the front with a one-piece Velcro closure. A 10 cm wide, limited elastic stabilization belt is firmly sewn in at the level of the lateral abdominal muscles. By fastening the belt, the lumbar vertebrae (specifically L4/L5) as well as the covered back and abdominal muscles are additionally stabilized, while the area of the large abdominal muscle remains free for better mobility.

The areas of application are primarily in sports (rowing, cycling, running, gymnastics, athletics, etc.) and in prevention, especially to stabilize the back muscles, warm them up properly, and avoid hypothermia.
