The back support covers the lower thoracic vertebrae (Th 10 to Th 12) and the lumbar region (L 1 to L 5) and is fastened at the front with a single-piece Velcro closure. A 10 cm wide, limited elastic stabilization strap is securely stitched around the level of the lateral abdominal muscles. By fastening the strap, the lumbar vertebrae (specifically L4/L5) as well as the covered back and abdominal muscles are additionally stabilized, while the area of the large abdominal muscle remains free for better mobility.

Therefore, the application areas are primarily in sports (rowing, cycling, running, gymnastics, athletics, etc.) and in prevention, especially to stabilize the back muscles, keep them well-warmed, and avoid cooling down.
