Agarwood, one of the rarest and most precious ingredients for perfumers, is often burned in the incense-laden temples of Bhutan to stimulate the senses, body, and mind. The scent is precious. Tom Ford's Oud Wood combines exotic rosewood and sensual cardamom with lush Chinese pepper, enveloping the skin in warmth. As it develops, the heart note unfolds with a smoky blend of precious agarwood, sandalwood, and vetiver, while creamy notes of tonka bean, vanilla, and amber emerge at the end.
