Tanno-Hermal Lotio

Tanno-Hermal Lotio is a medical product that primarily exerts a drying effect on weeping, infected skin conditions due to the physicochemical, astringent properties of the synthetic tannin it contains. The synthetic tannin, along with the solid substances zinc oxide and talc, binds wound secretions and forms a protective film over the affected areas of the skin. By drying out inflamed, weeping skin areas and promoting scab formation, it deprives bacteria and fungi of their nutrient base and helps prevent further spread of the skin infection. An additional benefit of the drying effect is the noticeable relief from itching and irritation provided by the protective film on the affected skin areas. In this way, Tanno-Hermal Lotio protects irritated skin, allowing it to renew itself undisturbed.

Tanno-Hermal Lotio is particularly suitable for use in skin folds (such as the armpits, genital-anal area, under the breasts, between the thighs, and on the fingers and toes), as well as for supporting the treatment of diaper dermatitis and for local treatment of itchy or weeping rashes. It can also be used in cases of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
